Awards & Achievements

  • John’s First Aid Program for the students to create awareness on first aid practices were held at the campus, venue on 27.08.2010. Around 300 students attended and certificates issued to them at the end of the session by St John’s Ambulance Society
  • Personality Development classes were conducted to final year students to prepare themselves to face their campus interviews, the classes were conducted in batches from 2nd to 4th Sep 2010.
  • Yoga classes for the students of all years were conducted to create a health awareness. Trained yoga instructors gave personalized training to staffs and students; the program was conducted for one week in batches from 11-10-2010 to 18-10-2010.
  • It is an another proud moment in history of SRM Hotel management, the institution framed its Alumni Association with a grand opening function with all students and aluminis taking part in the event as organized by the students of both local and international were part of the event, the event held at University Auditorium on 11-12-2011.
  • It is yet an another big day where SRM Hosted 98th Science Congress where Hotel Management was the back bone of the event to cater the need of all the International Scientist including the Prime Minister of India along with other cabinet Ministers. The event was held at SRM University from 02-01-2011 to 07-01-2011. Hospitality Team played a critical role in catering food for 5000 delegates with 3 meals for 6 days.
  • GSCT WORKSHOP AND EXCHANGE Programme held at premises of Hotel Management Institute on 8th and 9th Feb. 2011, the students of USA & UK visited SRM to learn and exchange the culture and culinary taste. The Students also experienced the workshop on Indian cuisine from the Chefs of SRM.
  • Spiritz Cultural Programme and sports meet to revel the talents of students of Hotel Management. The event was held at SRM Auditorium on 9th march, Actors Prithvi Pandiyarajan, Actress Disha Pandey were preceding the function along with our Director & Principal
  • Preethi Rajakumari won Gold Medal for the academics 2007-2010.
  • National Awards for Excellence was an another milestone in SRM History
    • Naresh Kumar won gold medal for his excellence in hospitality education for 2009-2010.
    • Arjun Mukundd won Silver Medal for second year.
    • Sudhakar Trivedi won Silver Medal in First year.

Students Achievements

  • Mr. Anto Xaviour and Mr. Saurabh Tiga has received Bronze Medal in the culinary competition in SOUTH EAST ASIA’s BIGGEST CULLINARY CHALLENGE, FOOD AND HOSPITALITY SHOW conducted at BANDARANAIKE MEMORIAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE HALL, SRI LANKA.
  • Mr. Karthik and Mr. Philips Williams are the winner and the runner of Floristry competition while Mr. Anto Xaviour and Mr. Nickson Andrew are the winner and runner of Cooking Competition and Ms. Anushree is the winner of India Skills District Level Competition and Mr. Anto Xaviour has been selected as topper at state level screening test.
  • Students of SRM IHM Won the Gold medal in Cooking along with a Bronze medal for the Culinary Quiz at Acharya Institute of Management Studies (AIMS).
  • Students of SRM IHM were awarded the overall championship trophy in Kalakrithi Sangamam 2020 for securing many first prizes at IHM Chennai.
  • Having participated in EXODUS 2020, at Christ College, Bengaluru our students have won the first prize in Travel Solution. Besides these remarkable achievements students have participated and achieved in many inter and intra college competitions.
